We’re transitioning the pharmacy prior authorization appeals process to Prime Therapeutics for Blue Cross Community Health PlansSM members.
Beginning April 1, 2024, pharmacy PA adverse determination appeal requests for BCCHPSM members can be initiated through Prime as noted below.

Pharmacy PA appeal instructions are included in the adverse determination letter from BCBSIL. For more information, refer to the BCCHP provider manual.
